ASP Service Coordinator
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the ASP Service Coordinator will link children and adults on the Autism Spectrum to needed services and support; will build families’ knowledge of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), strategies, and treatments; will identify and locate educational, support and training resources to assist families of persons on the Autism Spectrum; will provide trainings as needed; will provide educational advocacy; will facilitate support groups for families and individuals with an ASD. The Autism Support Program Service Coordinator will have significant travel throughout McHenry County, with periodic out of county meetings/trainings.
CFC Service Coordinator
Under the supervision of the Child and Family Connections Program Manager, the Service Coordinator will assist families in navigating the Early Intervention system through intake, Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) development, and transition at age 3 years; will link children and families to the necessary services and supports; will serve as liaison between Early Intervention services for families and community resources; will work cooperatively with CFC staff, EI providers and school district personnel. The Child and Family Connections Service Coordinator will have significant travel throughout McHenry County, with periodic out of county meetings/trainings.
