The Autism Support Groups are for families members who have an individual with an autism spectrum disorder.  The group provides an open forum to ask questions, express concerns, share successes, obtain new information about ASDs and meet other families who are experiencing the same sort of daily challenges.

Hang Out Group Sr.

This group was created for middle or high school-aged kids, who have a diagnosis of autism. The purpose of the group is to provide participants with a safe environment to socialize, try new things, and share ideas. We encourage members to engage in discussions on a wide variety of age-appropriate topics. The group also participates in community outings to stretch their interests.
*Typically held a varying Saturday of each month-September through May

Hang Out Group Jr.

This group was created for kid’s age’s 7-11years old who have a diagnosis of autism. The purpose of the group is to provide participants with a safe environment to socialize, try new things, and share ideas. We encourage members to engage in discussions on a wide variety of age-appropriate topics. This group also participates in community outings to stretch their interests.

Hang Out Group Sr. and Jr. Calendar

Discovery Group

This group is intended for individuals, 18 years and older, who have or “self-identify” as having autism. The purpose of the group is to offer an opportunity to build relationships with other adults. The group engages in discussions about life, goals and strategies in order to become a more independent person. Occasionally, a guest speaker is invited to discuss a specific topic. This group also participates in community outings based upon the desires and interests of the individuals within the group.
*Typically held the 2nd Thursday of each month

Parent Support Group

This group is intended for parents, grandparents, and caregivers of children with special needs. During group, parents with similar concerns regarding their child with special needs learn, discuss, and connect with each other in a comfortable and safe environment. You are welcome to attend as many groups as you would like throughout the year. We will have a new topic each month. Occasionally we will have a guest speaker attend to present on a specific topic
*Typically held the last Monday night of each month
