Options & Advocacy, en asociación con la ex directora ejecutiva Cindy Sullivan, se enorgullece en anunciar el fondo del PROGRAMA DE ARTES ALEGRES DE STEFANIE SULLIVAN.
Stef Sullivan, artista talentosa y mujer alegre, y miembro muy especial de la comunidad de Options & Advocacy, inspiró a la gente y compartió su amor por la vida a través de su arte. Es en su honor que hemos creado el fondo Stefanie Sullivan Joyful Arts. No hay otra actividad plenamente inclusiva que el arte. Que quienes se beneficien de ella experimenten la alegría y la libertad que encarnaba la propia Stef.

We are proud to partner with the McHenry Outdoor Theater this season to offer a more sensory friendly experience for our community members who are deaf, heard of hearing, neurodivergent or have an increased sensitivity to noise and busy environments.
What you can expect:

Limited low-volume music before the movie begins

Softly amplified announcements at predictable times: 6:30 PM, 7:00 PM, 7:30 PM, 8:00 PM, and 8:30 PM

Designated quieter areas further from speakers during the film

A movement-friendly space where kids can walk, run, and play as needed

Customizable audio experience—tune in to 89.9 FM at your preferred volume inside your vehicle

Comfort considerations—bring layers if the evening turns cool; headphones; fidgets; a comfort toy or object
Sensory Nights will be offered EVERY Wednesday evening this season!!
