What is ARC?

ARC provides support to McHenry County residents who are on the autism spectrum and to their families. Nearly all services are provided at no cost to families.

 

Services include:​

  • Provide resources and referrals to local providers

  • Build a family's understanding of autism through family education services

  • Support a family in understanding special education processes

  • Provide classroom observations and school team consultations to support the learning of students who are on the autism spectrum

  • Provide autism-related training to McHenry County residents, providers, and business owners to build a more inclusive community

  • Facilitate a variety of group experiences

How do I get started?

In order to be eligible for ARC services, a person must live in McHenry County and have a diagnosis of autism or be suspected to have undiagnosed autism. Use the button below to make a referral for yourself, your child, or your client!
